I gave in and used the laptop while on vacation.

Which has been a VERY interesting vacation.

1) After we'd gotten our rental car and were driving away, we saw some emergency vehicles attending to a plane that had landed nearby on a runway. A couple days later, we find out that there is an extremely high chance that that plane was the one with Billy Maes on it.

2) Frogs on a lamp. Symmetrically. Right outside. They're somewhat creepy.

3) Nature trail. Didn't see a Bobcat, unfortunately, but there were raccoons aplenty around there. Tons of 'em. And an iguana, but they're apparently not a native species. The cacti don't look native, either.

4) A couple days ago, there were about seven car accidents on the half-hour drive home. One of them was a police car on its side. No news stories on it.

5) U-turns. Florida LIVES on u-turns.

6) My Zune died insanely quickly for some reason, so I'm listening to Green Day on the computer.

7) I'm a lobster. My skin now matches the red marching band uniforms. Sun + me = miserable. And we're going to the beach again tomorrow >_<

8) On a walkway somewhere around here, people had there names carved on the wood with hearts around them. Guess what I saw? "Sabrina x [my crush's name]". Just what I need.

9) I know Florida's conservative, but really. In the county where we're staying, there's literally a church on every corner. Elsewhere, there's only one per mile. Which is still a lot.

10) MJ is old news. It's getting a bit annoying.

11) Was there a storm at home that shut off the power recently? Tried calling home, but no ringing - just answering machine.

...and there must have been more things, but I forgot them already Is there anyone who actually reads my journals, anyway?
